I’ve about had enough of this “no sun” thing; it can show up anytime now!
Some days you’ve just got to create your own sunshine, so yesterday I slapped on my favorite sunless tanner: Loving Tan, curled my hair, and today I hit up The Garden Table with my sweet friend Arianna, and let me tell you, that place was super adorable and full of sunshine & kindness! <3
If you’re looking for a new cute spot to try out; love eating fresh, good for you food; and enjoy having the kindest waiting staff wait on you; then I suggest you check out the Garden Table, at its newest location on Mass Ave!
First off, look at Ari’s adorable new do; TOTALLY diggin’ the green! Who else can rock green hair?!
Anyways, LOOK at this place!
I ordered the blueberry short stack, which tasted more like cornbread than a pancake, with tons of fresh blueberries! It was amazing; unlike anything I’ve ever had before! Alongside that, I had the 9-pan salad, which literally was every fruit & vegetable combined with a lemon vinaigrette; so beautiful & yummy!
I also had Ethiopian pour over coffee which wasn’t faaaabulous, but it was still good! They had tons of different coffee and espresso beverage options, would love to try more! They’re known for their fresh, made-in-house (at their Broad Ripple location), natural juices! Unfortunately, I didn’t try one this time 🙁
“Our juice is a mixture of raw fruits and vegetables, herbs and superfoods. Whenever possible, our ingredients are locally sourced and organic. Our juice is free of gluten, dairy, soy, GMOs, and any artificial ingredients. It is full of vitamins, micro-nutrients, live enzymes, and minerals.” (From “Methodology” on http://thegardentable.com/juice/)
The staff was unbelievably kind and went above & beyond for me and Ari! (Ari wanted better lighting to take some photos, so 20 minutes in they let us move to a window seat, grabbing all our stuff for us and allowing us to pick whatever seat we wanted! So sweet!)
“We believe in simple dishes, made from natural ingredients, grown and harvested by local farmers. We think it’s important to live a healthy and balanced life and we strive to do this by nourishing the body with clean fuel, supporting local businesses, giving back to the community and taking care of mother earth.” (From “About” on http://thegardentable.com/about/)
The environment was just a happy place to be and is sure to put a smile on your face!
So all-in-all: 10/10, would recommend 😉
But seriously, you have got to give it a try! The menu has many options for whatever you’re in the mood for, plus has seasonal specials that change from time to time!
They’re open for brunch on weekdays from 8-3 pm & on weekends from 9-3 pm! 🙂
