Here in Indy, it’s been non-stop rain for who even knows how long. I sure have lost count of the days. That being said, I haven’t been able to shoot in SO long with this dang weather, so it felt SO good to finally get back to it!
Of course, it started to rain as soon as we got to our location, but luckily, it didn’t last too long.
We shot at Holcomb Gardens, which I’ve never been to before.
It. Was. Magical. Fun fact about me, I LOVE nature. I love flowers, like loooove them. I love trees. I love the smell of fresh air. I even love rain, just not to shoot in. Lol. So stick me in a flower bush, and I’m golden. Needless to say, Holcomb Gardens quickly became one of my new favorite places to shoot. And while on the topic of new favorites, this dress is a new fav for obvious reasons.
Literally, this place looked like something out of a fairy tale. Also, I’m SO obsessed with how my photographer, Arianna Marie Photography, edits her photos. OBSESSED.
If you know anything about me by now, you know that embroidered anything has my name written ALL over it. If you’ve learned anything by reading this blog post so far, then you also know that flowers and floral anything make the world go round. Okay, maybe just my world.
I fell completely in love with this dress; It’s simple, yet stunning. The little details throughout this dress are definitely something to write home about.
Let’s just start from the top, shall we?
The color = perfect. I love me a good blush pink. This color is so feminine and sweet, perfect for Spring and Summer.
The crochet trim and inlays are BEAUTIFUL. I love how adding that simple detail throughout the entire dress adds so much texture and flare.
And don’t even get me started on the embroidery.
The contrast of the teal on the light blush is STUNNING. I LOVE how it makes the teal POP!
