Holiday Ready

Hey there!

So sorry I haven’t been keeping up with the blogging lately, sometimes it’s just too much. I’ve been attempting to do Vlogmas over on my Youtube channel and then totally failed, but don’t worry a new vlog is coming from my trip to CO!

On top of forgetting my camera everywhere I go and forgetting to vlog, December is just always crazy! Plus, I had some sad news with the boutique I work for, my boyfriend is finishing up this semester with projects galore (that I was apart of), and I’ve been trying to knock out a few collaborations before I leave and Christmas hits, and oh, look another one just came to my door!

I know these are no excuses as to why I haven’t been on here much, so I’m sorry for that, but let’s be real, I have a real life outside of the internet and those presents ain’t gonna wrap themselves.

I’ll be working on some really cool content for you guys while in Colorado though, so stay tuned and make sure you’re following me on Instagram:

Now where were we?

I LOVE this outfit. It’s a simple take on a classic holiday look; a pretty, festive blouse + a fancy, smancy “tulle” skirt & heels, only mine’s not that intense. It’s much more wearable, comfortable, and easy look to rock all hours of the night.

This is the perfect Holiday look for an office Christmas party, if you wanna wow but not too much wow, ya feel me?

It’s great for an evening out with your husband/fiance/bf, if you’re going to be doing a lot of walking or even dancing, this look is super comfy!

And of course, this would be the perfect outfit for Christmas day with the family, as it’s not too dressy but still says, “I take Christmas very seriously!” Lol.

This skirt was the best purchase I ever made. Maybe I wouldn’t go that far, but it sure is up there. This simple, cotton midi skirt is from ASOS, and it’s so versatile. (Similar options here (petite) & here (tall))

I am actually a worship leader at my church, which means I help lead the congregation from the stage in music. (Speaking of, join us for our Christmas Eve service if you’re one of my local readers! 😉 Click HERE!) Since I’m on stage, I need to have a modest, approachable look, and this skirt has been the BEST thing to have in my closet, when rushing to get to the church by 7 AM.

I know I can always count on this skirt with basically any top/sweater/blouse/cardigan/literally anything. It’s one of those “throw on & go” “don’t even have to think about it” pieces for me! It’s perfect!

The adorable sweater is from ZARA, and it’s the softest thing! I bought it in store, and I’m so sad I can’t find it online! 🙁 This sweater is very similar, it’s just long-sleeved! I looove the pearl detailing! Pearls are so classy and feminine, and really amp up any Holiday look.

My shoes are a few years old, but here are some similar options: Black PumpPointed Toe Ankle Strap Block Heels. And my little, crossbody bag is from Target!

Of course I finished off the look with a classic red lip! This shade of red is literally the perfect red, it’s a Sephora Collection Soft Lip Cream in “Always Red”! Snag it HERE!

Weather you head out to Sephora to snag the perfect holiday red, you order the midi skirt for all your skirt needs, or you simple incorporate pearls into your Christmas party outfit, you’re sure to be Holiday Ready!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

xx Claire
