Hey girl, how ya been?

It seems I start every post with, “I know I’ve been a little MIA, but..” so I’ll just skip over that part. You get the idea.

I’ve actually been really into making videos for my Youtube channel lately, and if you aren’t subscribed, be sure to do so: SUBSCRIBE! 🙂

Well, let’s address the elephant in the room, which is that you probably don’t see me pose with heart balloons on any given Wednesday so… Happy Valentine’s Day! <3

Oh, Valentine’s Day, the poor thing gets such a bad rep.

I honestly don’t see why so many people get upset or mad about it. People get all “it’s not fair cause I’m single,” or “you should show love everyday” but you don’t hear Dad’s everywhere complaining that they’re not a mother on Mother’s Day so that they get a piece of pity chocolate. And you definitely don’t want to spend $$ on flowers and little gifts every single day. I’m just saying.

Yes, show love everyday, but also go the extra mile, buy the gift, take her/him out, and express your love and gratitude in a way that is a little outside of the normal everyday McDonalds for dinner and the occasional side hug.

So if the holiday applies to you, GREAT! Celebrate it, have fun, buy the goofy heart-shaped this and that, and you go on that date. And if it doesn’t, don’t bring others down or judge the fact that some of us out here find great joy and fun in celebrating the holiday.

Also, we all have someone in our life that we love, and someone who loves us. It may not be a romantic love, but we all have someone or something in some way. We always have something to be thankful for, and I know we all don’t do an amazing job of expressing that daily. Just saying.

Rant over.

Where were we?

My sweet fiancé bought me these balloons, so hello, PHOTOSHOOT!!

This polka dotted shift dress is a new favorite of mine, and it’s featured in my Valentine’s GRWM video my latest haul video! This little beauty is from Shein, and it was only $13!

I actually shop on Shein a TON, and I’ve always had really great success with them. I get a ton of questions about my experience with them, the shipping, the quality of the items, etc. and I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have! Just DM me on Instagram! 🙂

BUT if purchasing from Shein freaks you out, Forever 21 actually has the exact same dress for just a little bit more! 🙂

These little guys are also from Shein, and you can purchase them HERE!

I threw on a basic faux leather moto jacket and some tights cause it was absolutely freezing 🙂

My red backpack purse is from Forever 21, and I’ve linked a similar one HERE!

My shoes are thrifted, but you could really go any route with this outfit! I love how this outfit is a little bit edgy, a little bit retro, and a little bit girly! I love to have fun with my outfits for Holidays, and Valentine’s just happens to be one of my favorites! 🙂

My lip color is by Morphe, and if you want a tutorial that is very similar to this makeup look, check out my Valentine’s Day GRWM! <3

Remember to share the love. Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about a significant other! Spoil yourself, go out with friends, thank your parents for all they’ve done for you and hang with them, or just share a donut with your dog. Just remember to love.

And I want to personally thank all of you for all of the love and support you give me on my blog posts, on my youtube channel, and on my Instagram. I can’t wait to see where that love and support takes us one day! So thankful for you.  Love you guys!
