Hi, I’m Claire René!
And welcome to Claireifying Beauty! I’m from Indianapolis, IN, and I am a digital content creator, blogger, makeup artist, model, and Youtuber. I am also a wife, a Christ follower, and a dog mom! I am coffee-dependent and fluent in sarcasm. I am unapologetically myself, and I love empowering people of all ages to embrace who they are and who they were created to be, because fitting in is BORING!
I exist to encourage, love, cheer on, uplift, support, and help those around me, and I feel I am best able to do so for businesses, brands, individuals, and more, through Claireifying Beauty and my social channels. I love encouraging people to be their best and most true self no matter what and to remember that “you are YOU, and that is your power.”
P.S. I love breaking “fashion norms”.. especially for us petites! (I’m 5’2″)
About Claireifying Beauty
Claireifying Beauty was created as an outlet for me to share my thoughts, ideas, outfit inspirations, beauty secrets, tips, tricks, encouragement, and so much more.
I believe life is beyond beautiful and there is something worth smiling about every single day. I strive for my blog to be a place where people feel empowered to be themselves and where they fall in love with who they are.
Claireifying Beauty seeks to be an uplifting space that brings a smile to your face, and I hope it ultimately gives you the confidence and desire to rock what you want, be who you are, and love those around you deeply.
I started my blog almost exactly 3 years ago, and have seen immense growth! It’s been insane. I started this thing on a whim, one random summer day, and it’s becoming a full time thing, and I love it.
I am a self taught vocalist, and after high school, I went on a music scholarship to Indiana Wesleyan University, but quickly decided my passion for music was being tainted by the logistics of studying it note by note. I changed my major to communications and had a very unpleasant time, considering I was placed in level 300 classes as a freshman. *eye roll*
I have always been a writer and have loved telling stories. I was a journalism student and wrote for my high school newspaper, then later wrote for my university’s as well. So I guess it’s in my blood.
I came home and studied makeup and the rest is history. I am a lover of fashion, coffee, Jesus, music, makeup, and everything else in between.
Speaking of, I also started to dabble in the world of Youtube when I launched my blog, and soon realized my love for video and video editing.
I began a career modeling as well soon after high school. I modeled for a few local boutiques, and then took on the role of Social Media Coordinator for one of those boutiques. I took care of all the marketing, social media, emailing, commenting, etc., and I fell in LOVE with that task. That job helped me to realize my love for this “online world.”
I now model for The Girls in Grey which is an online boutique based here in Indy.
I also am the social media coordinator, second shooter, creative director, and part-time editor for Sea Jay Films, the wedding filmmaking business my husband and I own!
It’s funny because I wanted to study music to use my gifts the Lord has blessed me with, but He had a different plan. I am also a Worship Leader at my church, Emmanuel Church, which has been such a blessing to me.
